Princess Peach has never looked more beautiful and stylish as she does now.
You can find queens in any kind of story you can think of. In fact, the young, spoiled ruler is an old trope that can give your story a lady in trouble or some royal rules. Princess Peach of the Mushroom Kingdom is one of the most well-known characters in entertainment, and she may have come from a video game.
From being nothing more than the “end goal” at first, Peach has grown into her own person. She’s helped the Mario brothers, led her own side stories, and even fought Bowser herself. She’s done it all, and she did it in style. Take a look at her most stylish royal clothes.
Olympics Peach
Peach is such a proper princess that she only wears puffy dresses and skirts, which are beautiful but not at all useful for getting into the action. Because of this, it’s nice to see the king wear costumes, fencing suits, and other clothes in the Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games series.
The bright pink outfit she wears for “Rhythmic Gymnastics” deserves extra attention. There’s nothing better than seeing this shy girl do cartwheels and throw batons ten feet into the air while Sonic Colors’ “Reach for the Stars” plays in the background. It’s a lot of fun when Peach lets her hair down, sometimes literally.
Kimono Peach
In Super Mario Odyssey, the game doesn’t end when you stop Bowser’s evil wedding. In fact, a whole new part of the game starts when Peach thinks she’s had enough of the Mushroom Kingdom and goes on a wild goose chase. She wears a different outfit in each state, but her kimono is one of the cutest.
It looks like the princess wanted to honor the history of her studio by wearing this, well, unusual dress. With Fire Flower patterns all over her body and a Boo in her hair, it’s clear that this is a Mario take on a traditional Japanese outfit. Thank you.
Explorer Peach
Again from Mario Odyssey, Peach has chosen to face the dangers of the Lost Kingdom and has come dressed as a traveler. With that huge sunhat (maybe made by Toads?) and funny-looking over-full bag, it’s clear that she believes that luck favors the prepared.
She will also need it. The Lost Kingdom is mostly made up of acid pools with the odd poisonous vulture and spike trap thrown in for fun. It’s funny to think of Explorer Peach having to swing her way through these hurdles while maybe singing her own version of the Indiana Jones theme.
Nurse And Doctor Peach
Princess Peach has been a doctor for a long time, which not many people know. When she’s not making rules for the Mushroom Kingdom, she’s giving pills to anyone who walks into Dr. Mario’s office. Of course, only if they have a fever or chills. In the beginning, she played “Nurse Toadstool” and wore a simple pink dress, but that wasn’t enough for her.
By Mario Kart Tour, she has her Ph.D. and is now Dr. Peach, complete with lab coat and stethoscope. We don’t know what her thesis paper was about for sure. It most likely wasn’t “On Keeping Giant Koopas Out Of Your Kingdom.” Still, good for her.
Patisserie Peach
When Princess Peach: Showtime was revealed, fans were so happy. The last time Peach went on her own adventure was in 2005, in Super Princess Peach for the DS. It’s about time she got her own adventure again. The main trick is changing clothes to get around in a theater, and her Patisserie outfit is one of the cutest ones she has on.
Peach is ready to make some delicious treats. Her toque, apron, and checkered skirt are all made to handle batter splatters of the highest order. She looks especially good because she tied her hair back, which is not like her at all and shows that she knows a lot about food safety. It’s time to reserve a spot.
Biker Peach
A skintight biker dress is probably the one thing you wouldn’t expect the usually strict leader of a country to be seen while wearing. No matter what, Peach has always worn that outfit in Mario Kart games since the Wii. Also, do you know what? She’s great.
Along with Daisy and Rosalina, two other fierce women, she has cool pink lines down the length of her suit (for speed, of course) and a pair of biking boots that are perfect for putting the pedal to the metal. This outfit is so well-known that it was used in The Super Mario Bros. Movie during a long Rainbow Road race scene. It looks like she was just putting it on under her dress. Our princess is always ready to go.
Detective Peach
Peach has chosen that in Princess Peach: Showtime, she wants to beat Pikachu to become Nintendo’s best detective. It’s a good thing Professor Layton is a third party, because she wouldn’t have a chance. Putting on a deerstalker in the style of Sherlock Holmes and carrying a magnifying glass, she will find any sign.
With this outfit, you can go right into Basket Random because you can use the magnifier glass to follow track trails. Want to find a Shy Guy who stole a stage prop? Or a Goomba that just trashed a museum? When Detective Peach is on the job, they’ll never get away with it.
Fire Peach
If you can believe it, what would happen if Princess Peach touched a Fire Flower was a big argument among Mario fans for a long time. Would her dress get red? How about white? Would she get fire skills, something else, or nothing? These are the hypotheticals that make fans all over the world confused. Thank goodness, Super Mario 3D World came out in 2013 and gave us the answer.
In reality, her dress changes to red and white, and she wears her hair in a cute ponytail (can you tell we love it when she does that?) She can now throw fireballs just as well as the Mario twins. There’s no need to drop, roll, and stop here.
Swordfighter Peach
Hey, Peach. Being able to use a magnifying glass and a baking spoon is one thing, but a sword? A real tool, you say? That’s not like you at all, but we’re okay with it. She seems to be unleashing her inner musketeer in Princess Peach: Showtime, her other new form. She is off to not only jump over anyone in her way, but also stab them in the back.
As Peach cuts and swipes her way through the stage’s different obstacles, she looks like she jumped out of an Alexandre Dumas book. We like the boots, the Victorian cravat, and that fancy ruffled hat the most. Are you going to fight evil if you can do it in a big hat? These days, Nintendo really lets Peach leave her comfort zone, and it’s fun to watch.
Classic Peach
Peach’s standard pink princess dress is still the best choice, even though all of these other clothes are great too. It’s so recognizable that you can tell who’s wearing it just by looking at those bright colors and puffed-up shoulders.
Nintendo tried her out in white and different shades of red before deciding on the now-familiar pink dress. And we all know and love that dress. The fact that these gloves are white and the shoes are blood red may be a sign that this style hasn’t changed much since the late 1990s. There’s no doubt about it: Princess Peach looks her best in pink, whether she’s waiting to be saved or kicking butt.
