Do you have any extra mana? Then use the best Manathirst cards in Hearthstone to make a difference!
Manathirst is a younger term in Hearthstone. It was first added in the March of the Lich King expansion. When you hit a certain amount of mana, cards with Manathirst get an extra benefit. This means that you can play them early in the game if you need to, but they’ll still be useful if you draw them later.
In addition, Manathirst affects are extra strong because they are locked during the first few turns of the game. Some might say that they are too strong for the game, so let’s see which Hearthstone Manathirst cards are pushing that line.
In Hearthstone, it’s not usually a big deal to spend one mana to draw a card. But in Last Stand, you can ask for Taunt minions, so if your deck is built around a Taunt minion, you might want to add it to keep things consistent.
When you have seven mana, Last Stand is a much stronger card because it can double the numbers of a Taunt monster, which can sometimes win the game. Aggro decks that don’t have access to hard removal will run into a wall they can’t get through. The character is also a huge threat that your opponent needs to deal with right away against other deck types.
Even though the idea of stopping a monster is cool, the Coroner card is mostly used for its Manathirst effect. It wouldn’t fit in most decks, though. On the other hand, silence is useful against many very strong monsters, and this card has one of the least expensive neutral silence effects in the game.
In a Wild-formatted match, on the other hand, you might choose Ironbeak Owl instead, since it costs one more mana and doesn’t need Manathirst. Coroner is often in decks that run E.T.C., Band Manager, because you won’t always need Silence. It takes up one of the extra deck spots that comes with that monster.
Some classes have better healing tools than Sunfury Clergy, but for those that don’t, getting six healing for three mana is one of the best things they can do. There are times when the Manathirst requirement could be a problem, but most of the time, you won’t need it until you have six mana.
As a small plus, Sunfury Clergy can also heal your other minions. Which can sometimes make the board very much in your favor. Also, using the Priest Overheal keyword on minions can be a great way to make them attack. This keyword works if you heal them past their maximum health.
Embers of Strength
For a two-mana call, 2/4 is a good number of stats. Even if you split it into two 1/2 units, which won’t work well with most early-game minions. Because it has the Manathirst effect, Embers of Strength does much better than most two-mana cards in the late game.
One of the best things about this card is that it’s a cheap, strong Fire spell that works really well with other cards of the same type in Warrior decks. Embers of Strength is one of the best cards you can use to get the most out of cards like Thori’s Belore or Sunfury Champion.
Feast and Famine
It’s not a good idea to give your hero an extra three attack points for two mana. There are many two-mana skills that will do three damage without you having to touch the target with your face. Lifesteal from Feast and Famine’s Manathirst ability, on the other hand, is very useful. Especially since it works with any attack points your Hero gets from other sources.
This card is mostly played because it works well with Horn of the Windlord, a weapon that has the Windfury ability. If you have a weapon on, you could heal for a huge amount. Because of this, Feast and Famine does twice as much damage. So you can either kill your opponent or heal yourself out of a risky situation.
In the early days of Hearthstone, you could use spells that did two damage for one mana. However, these cards are no longer usable. When it comes to three damage points, though, things are very different. This makes Arcane Bolt a very strong tool for burn or combo Mage decks.
It might not be very exciting at the start of Tunnel Rush, but if you want to kill your opponent with a big combo of spells, you’ll have to wait until later turns anyway. Additionally, several cards can make Arcane Bolts. So even if this spell isn’t being played directly in decks, it may still show up often in your games.
It’s already very good value to spend two mana to draw two cards. And Conjured Arrow adds two damage points on top of that. Adding Spell Damage to the card makes both of its strengths even stronger. As a result, this card is used in some very bold Hunter decks, even though it needs Manathirst to work.
When your opponent doesn’t have any monsters, you can’t draw cards with Conjured Arrow. This is one of the some problems with the card. That doesn’t happen very often in Hearthstone, though, and the card’s power after six mana is so high that those problems are easily forgotten.
Have you spent the first few moves trying to build up a board and take away your opponent’s life? That’s too bad, because Unleash Fel is here to make your day awful. Even if you meet the Manathrist requirement and get Lifesteal, the spell doesn’t do much magic on its own.
Unleash Fel, on the other hand, could wipe out your board and bring your opponent back to full health if you use it with other spells. Its Manathirst cost went from four to eight since it first came out. Which is a pretty big decrease but not so big that it can’t be used in every non-aggro Demon Hunter deck.
You might want to be able to pull a certain Beast if your deck is set up to benefit from Faithful Companions. If you only have a few beasts, Faithful Companions can be a good card to play without getting the Manathirst effect. Getting a monster for cheap, or making sure you have the right one when you need it.
If you wait until you have ten mana, though, getting an extra copy of your Beast can be really cool. If you copy a King Krush that has been boosted, you can sometimes one-shot your opponent from full health. Two Hollow Hounds will clear your opponent’s board and heal you to full health.
Astalor Bloodsworn is not only the best Manathirst minion in Hearthstone. But also one of the strongest monsters the game has ever seen. Each of his forms is a good card on its own. Early on, his base form helps you fight for the board. His second form strengthens your defenses, and his third form kills your opponent or changes the board in your favor to win the game.
